Dina El Halaby's journey into education is grounded in a strong belief that every child deserves to learn in an environment that respects their individuality and nurtures their confidence.
Before founding Bel Arabi, Dina led research and capacity-building initiatives across the Middle East and Africa, and supported refugees and migrants in Switzerland. These experiences, combined with her academic background in children’s rights and economics, have shaped her commitment to creating learning spaces where every child can thrive, grow in confidence, and feel proud of who they are.
Dina is a certified Arabic teacher, having earned her teaching qualification from Goldsmiths, University of London. She holds a BA in Business Administration and an MA in Economics from the American University in Cairo, as well as a Master of Advanced Studies in Children’s Rights from the University of Geneva.
Dr Jessica Ogilvy-Stuart, PhD, MEd, PDip, BA (Hons), International Education Consultant
Dr Jessica Ogilvy-Stuart has been based in Hong Kong since 1998 where she has operated tutorial schools and advises families on education strategies.
Previously Head of Training, Asia Pacific for Bloomberg LP, Jessica has acted as a consultant for British schools seeking to open in Asia and with companies seeking to acquire schools in the UK.
Jessica is a Governor of Downside School, a trustee of the University College Durham Trust and a member of the Manchester University Global Advisory Board. She is an Honorary Norham Fellow at St Hugh’s College, Oxford. Jessica has previously lectured all over the world and has a wealth of experience in the international education sector.
Suzie Atallah Oweiss, BA (Hons) - Founder and Director, PS Education | Chair of the Advisory Board
Suzie has been in education, marketing and media for over 20 years. She has 12 years of BBC experience as a writer, broadcaster and producer. Suzie started her work in education as an editor for the Good Schools Guide.
Suzie has worked extensively with families and tutors to make sure students achieve their highest potential in the schools and universities which are right for them! As well as being an education consultant to parents and corporates, over the years, Suzie has worked with schools and sat on panels to develop and structure senior management teams and departments within schools. She has carried out strategic plans for restructuring or building up marketing, development and communications teams.
Suzie is accredited by the British Council and holds a BA Honours degree in French Literature from King’s College, University of London.
